Typically, most of the field and onsite work force at oil rigs and plants are from South Asian nations. The labour and manpower is very cheap. Most often, the top executive positions are held by Westerners and Europeans, although it’s in no way exclusive. Salaries are high, surpassing the norms of other industries.
